Air com’dre herbert g. Brackley cbe dso dfc

Does anyone know of the RAF service history, of Air Commodre Herbert George. Brackley CBE DSO DFC.

Apparently he was with RAF Coastal Command on flying boats. He later joined BSAA after the war, but sadly drowned on a visit to see the airline ops, starting with Rio in Bazil in November 1948
