P-38 43-2343

MACR 4036 says that Cecil O Lewis, 95th Fighter Squadron, 82d Fighter Group bailed out over the town of D. (Donji) Brovac approximately 60 miles from Belgrade in April 1944. I cannot find this town. I have found a D. Brodac (now Brodac Donji), and a Obrovac. Does anyone have an idea where this town may be? The map in the MACR makes the town seem southwest of Belgrade.

It is small typing mistake, village is Donji Brodac

Hello ghost,

the info in the column MACR# is wrong. The MACR 4036 lists the correct AAF serial number 43-2343. The serial no. 42-110746 relates to the left engine Allison V1710-53 (MACR No. 7 Engines).
