98 Squadron Mosquito colors?

Gentlemen,

in the Aeroplane Monthly July 2007 issue there is a photograph of a 98 Squadron Mosquito B.Mk XIV visiting Tempelhof airfield in November 1947. As this would be an interesting modelling subject, I have some question regarding it's markings:

1) Colors of the code letters? Red?
2) Colors of the spinners? They should be black within 98 Squadron, but they clearly aren't.
3) Color of the frame of the squadron badge?
4) Which upperwing roundels would have been applied? The photo suggests the post-war three-coloured ones, but on the fuselage the "old" roundels are still applied. Do my eyes deceive me?
5) Would this a/c have carried its serial below the wings? I haven't observed this feature on any post-war Mosquito yet..

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers,
Christian

Re: 98 Squadron Mosquito colors?

In general it should have registration under wings. Spinner is two color and unit badge look like have outline. Too small image to get any precise conclusion. Colors are wartime but faded.
