Wolfgang Wollenweber, 1922-2022

Dear forum members,

Wolfgang Wollenweber has passed away on 30 October 2022. He was born on 13 March 1922. His funeral took place today in Köln.

He flew in JG 5 and in JG 1 and was probably the last He 162 -pilot alive.

I had the pleasure hosting his visit to Finland in December 2013. He was an officer and a true gentleman.
