Do 17 in Combat with the Luftwaffe
For those interested, I submitted words and photos yesterday. Text and appendices 61,000 words, 706 photos, 14,735 words of captions. These could go up or down slightly. Publisher will start work in August and I will keep you updated. I will admit that it has been a labour of love on an aircraft all but obsolete by the end of 1940

Re: Do 17 in Combat with the Luftwaffe
Thanks for the update! Got a spot reserved for it on the bookshelf next to your Fw 200 book.

Re: Do 17 in Combat with the Luftwaffe
Excellent - there are too few books on the Do17, which after all, was a main player before and during the war. You did not say who is publishing your book?

Chris, congrats!
Any words and photos of Do 17s above Belgrade in April 1941? Thanks. Djordje |
Re: Do 17 in Combat with the Luftwaffe
Thanks all. Crecy is the publisher and it is being working on at the moment-word count gone up as has photo count. The part it played in the Balkans is covered with diary entries from two pilots who took part (albeit it was over and done with pretty quickly)
