Looks like same plane, but the upper propeller blade looks different like the photo from HMAW or Osprey books - so probably 2 different planes.

Thanks I think 2 different QJ-E - I don't see "523" at all in the new ebay photo but I do not see "523"

One also looks obviously "POW" the other does not!

Now some of the (Bull)dust has settled, I'm first to admit I inadvertently numbered Image No.1 (Spitfire), as No.2 Kittyhawk). I stick by my conclusions on both images.

Interesting discussion. Looks like I am "ten years after", nothing unusual with that....:)
Always nice when a photo suddenly appears confirming earlier suspicions.

When it comes to photo "1 and 2" (Spitfire/Kittyhawk) I confess I agree with Col on both aircraft. The digits, at least those I can faintly see on photo 1 are "47" which supports his ID. His unfortunate mistake of listing both his IDs under no 2 was quite easy to understand.
