Oblt. Wolfgang Witte
 
Hello,

Someone was there any information on Oblt. Wolfgang WITTE.
On September 7, 1940, he crashed with his He 111P's Reel. KG 55 to Breteuil sur Iton.
On February 12, 1945, he crah at its reconversion on Bf 109G-6 and died of wounds February 22 in Germany.

Are there any pictures of him?

Here is what we have about this fellow:

WITTE, Wolfgang.
(DOB: 15.07.14).
07.09.40 Oblt., WIA after bailout due engine failure 10 km S of L’Aigle, W of Dreux/France.
01.07.42 promo to Hptm.
09.02.43 trf from Stab/Luftgaukdo. XI to Ob.d.L. pool.
23.08.44 Hptm., appt Staka 1./KG 55, then KG (J) 55 (to 22.02.45).
02.02.45 Hptm., Staka 1./KG (J) 55, seriously injured near Laiblfing (Straubing area) during a training flight; died 22.02.45.

A check of the Kracker Archive reveals nothing.
