Information concerning the loss of Uffz. Franz Dess - SG 10 pilot - killed 01.11.44

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Uffz. Franz Dess who was a pilot with 5./SG 10?

He was lost over the Balkans on the 1st November 1944.

He was an experienced flier with the EK I and the Silver flight Badge.

Appears to have been shot down by own Flak, south of Skopje A/D. Fw 190F-8, Wnr. 931823.
