Re: Researching the Luftwaffe through Prisoner Interrogations

Thanks!

I was hoping for an index of interrogated officials, especially those who were questioned at the end or immediately after the war. Looks like there's no other way but to go check the files at kew.

Re: Researching the Luftwaffe through Prisoner Interrogations

Just a quick note, I scanned through this thread and do not believe there has been any mention of the USSBS interogation files. it has been about 50 years since I used them, but they may include both personnel and subject matter not in UK material. Many copies were in the USAF museum archives and the mother lode of USSBS material is at the USNA at College Park, Md. I did notice there was a copy of material from a CIOS interrogation. If anyone could point me to an archive where CIOS working files (not reports) might be, it would be appreciated. My belief is there is important material that has not been well disseminated from both of these sources.
Just as teasers, I have a summary of the C-amt Monatsmeldung, missing only 1 month for most of the war and a field report summarizing one manufacturer production linking RLM W.Nr. with manufactuers W.Nr. and Stammkennzeichen.

Best Regards,
