Information concerning loss of Feldwebel Oscar Dippel - killed 15.01.1941
 

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Feldwebel Oscar Dippel who was a Stuka pilot and was killed on the 15th January 1941.

Hello Rick,

according to the Gen.Qu. loss return the airfield Catania was bombed on 16 Jan 1941, Fw Dippel and Fw Kreutzberg were killed on the ground.
The entry "Fw Hans Schmidt und Fw Rampichler verletzt" was corrected on 13 Dec 1941: Both were "unverletzt".
