Hptm Paul Metges - Question

I have a nice article written by Paul Metges on German ASR during the Battle of Britain [Luftwaffe Air -Sea Rescue in the Battle of Britain. Paul Metges, Aeroplane Monthly , September 1990, P. 522-527]. It provides one of the best summaries on Luftwaffe ASR operations.

One of the photographs in this article recently appeared on German E-Bay

In this article, it is mentioned that Hptm Metges served with JG-110 after ASR service. However, in the Officer Biography [excerpted below]

METGES, Paul. (DOB: 21.08.19 in Krefeld). 05.41 in 1. Seenotstaffel. 01.42 in 6. Seenotstaffel. 01.05.42 Lt., 6. Seenotstaffel WIA - Do 24 T-2 (CH+EZ) destroyed by a rough landing vic Vittoria Pl.Qu. 13 Ost 4739. 01.12.42 promo to Oblt./A1. 11.43 Oblt. in 4. Seenotstaffel. 01.02.45 Hptm., appt Staka 2./JG 104 (to 14.02.45).

Notice there is no mention of JG-110.Did Hptm Metges serve with JG-110 or is the article in error and it should be JG-104?

Odd that an article by himself mentions JG 110.
From Carlsen/Meyer and their Band II of Flugzeugführerausbildung Hptm Metges is listed as St Kap of 2./JG 104 01.02.45-14.02.45

I can't find him listed in any of the JG 110 Staffeln mentioned in the book, but then again not all commanders were known to them when they published the volume. Anyone else who knows?

Cheers
Stig
