Hi, Tahiti...
The He111B was a B-1, coded D-AKEM, W.Nr.1005, with a turbocharger intake fitted to the forward nose area. The tests were apparently unsatisfactory and the system was abandoned in 1938. A picture of this machine also appears in Heinkel He111 - Aircraft Monograph 2 by Robert Michulec (AJ Press). Regards... |
