Information concerning loss of Oberred Rudolph - killed
Hi,
Can anyone provide information on the loss of Oberfeldwebel Alfred Rudolph who was killed on the 19th August 1942? Was he lost over a England? Thanks Rick |

The Volksbund database has his name as Albert Rudolph, as in the NVM given by Matti Salonen, and not Rudolf.
He is buried in France and so the loss area given as "England" in the loss report was probably actually "English Channel" and operations against the Allied raid on Dieppe, as most German bombers lost that day were lost during this battle rather than during actual raids on UK. |
