This pilot may have served in WW2, but in 1947 he was a Flight Lieutenant, serving with the RAAF.

His name was R.Becke, can anyone provide his full name please?

(A) F/O Becke mentioned here in WW 2 service, also Catalina: https://www.rslwa.org.au/wp-content/...inter-1989.pdf (p.17).

Thru Trove I found R.E. Becke, the RAAF Catalina pilot who found the missing Mosquito.
