I'm sad to announce that I attended the funeral of Erich on Friday. Well he was 95 so he had a long life.

I have studied Uffz Erich Ulmschneider he was a pilot of stab/JG11 in the autumm of 1943 . In Prien Jagdgeschwader 1 und 11 he is often mentioned ,There is a report over his mission on the 20-12-43 when the stabbschwarm was bounced by US-fighters above the Assen-area [Provence drenthe holland] .Now starts the confusion because the dutch loss register stated that his G-5crashed SE Assen .Meanwhile in Prien is stated notlandung in Grossefehn G-6 . This is in Germany in the Aurich area so other area and country .So a little confusion what really happened ?
