Does anyone do have information (maybe from the Do 217 and 317 book by Griehl) about the Dornier Do 217 M of werknummer 3867?

I'm no expert on Do 217 but I don't even have a W.Nr. range covering that W.Nr.... Are you sure it is accurate?

Griehl has a rather "spooky" M-1 WNr range listed as 322701 - 326300, which, if correct, must include a huge amount of "black out" numbers.

Since you probably did not dream up the number, care to share a bit more of what you got??

Since this is not my field of knowledge, I may have indeed committed a big mistake. The number 67 may be a tactical number, not part of the werknummer.

Since the machine does have a 4-bladed propeller, I "thought" it could be a Dornier 217 M, but again, may have committed a mistake.

Have no clues to the whereabouts of the place or the crew.

Since I had seen a previous thread here where a werknummer for a Do 217 M was informed as 3865 (flown over Finland), I thought that maybe 3867 would be the match for this particular machine.

Apparently the 1,000 flight Cerimony for the Staffel or Gruppe...do not know where though.

There's at least ca 8 different Do 217 Ms which would have ended on "67"

Do you have info on those 8, or some of those? Maybe we can narrow down later...I have absolutely no books on the 217 or no clues about the possible location.
