Photos Jasta 71
Hello,
Currently on ebay are a series of photos captioned as coming from Jasta 71. This seems questionable in some cases. The photos follow: https://www.ebay.de/itm/T136-Jagdsta...sAAOSwSTlgGnWE It may be possible to identify the unit of the aircraft shown in this photo from some of the serial numbers. Can anyone read any of the serials? It probably is Jasta 71 based on a Fokker D.VII D.4301/18 of Vfw Baurose bearing the same OttO marking here : http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/produ...tid=3040&cat=1 https://www.ebay.de/itm/T127-JASTA-J...gAAOSw5w5gGm8j https://www.ebay.de/itm/T125-JASTA-J...8AAOSwOEZgGm6X A Pfalz D.XII. Is the serial decipherable? https://www.ebay.de/itm/T131-Jagdsta...wAAOSwu51gGnEK A Victim. Does anyone know which unit operated Salmson 2 A2 No.477? https://www.ebay.de/itm/T130-Jagdsta...0AAOSwo~lgGnAO Beute Spad?? Yes, but Spad VII of N.103 brought down by Jasta 24 not 71. https://www.ebay.de/itm/T137-JASTA-7...IAAOSw-PNgGnXy Not a Beute Breguet ?? Looks like French groundcrew. https://www.ebay.de/itm/T134-Jagstaf...IAAOSwjvBgGnMn Not Jasta 71 https://www.ebay.de/itm/T138-Luftbil...EAAOSwXh5gGnaM Not Jasta 71, But a nice photo https://www.ebay.de/itm/T139-Luftbil...UAAOSwZrJgGnbs Feel I've posted this before https://www.ebay.de/itm/T143-Foto-Ja...YAAOSwjvBgGnjl Regards, Clint |

Hello,
Currently on ebay is a photo showing a collision between two Albatros of Jasta 71 at: https://www.ebay.de/itm/T696-JASTA-J...AAAOSwQ9BgPfRM The rearmost of the two machines is von Hippel's D.Va D.7353/17.A clearer view of this machine and this incident can be seen here: http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/produ...uctid=29&cat=1 Regards, Clint |
