Sgt. Ronald William Vessey (RNZAF)

seeking a picture of Sgt. Vessey who was shot down and killed on 3 August 1942 near the small village of Kapelle-Biezelinge (Zuid-Beveland) during a mission by 485 squadron to strike multiple targets on this island. However during approaching the Scheldt estuary, flying extremely low, they received fire from 6./- and 7./202 (393 x 3,7/2 cm) and 9./810 (27 x 10,5 cm) hitting his aircraft which subsequently crashed inland.
The 19 year old was buried two days later at the Noorderbegraafplaats at Flushing.

we hope to receive a picture of this young man to complete the story.
Thanks
Wim
