cool photos.
In which language did you speak to each other ?

Best greetings from rainy Brandenburg,

Michael

Wir haben miteinander auf Deutsch gesprochen. During our visit in Germany with my American friend (WWII vet) I was pretty exhausted. I had to translate from English to German and Czech, then back from German to English and Czech...at the end of the day I didnīt know who I am ;-)

Ooops...I just realized that the second link to the pics from our meeting in 2007 that I posted in my previous post is wrong...itīs directed to this pics from 2006 again.
Hereīs the right one - 2007 http://www.leteckabitvakarpaty.cz/ud...ova-akce-2007/

Re: Willi Reschke

Good evening Roman,

very impressing.
Did Mr Reschke have children ?

From him I learned that only four notable pilots flew the Ta 152 in combat:
  • Josef Keil, 5 kills
  • Walter Loos, 4 kills
  • Willi Reschke himself, 3 kills
  • Christoph Blum, 0 kills

Good evening Michael,

yes, he had two sons. Thanks to one of them we could meet his father.

Re: Willi Reschke

Good evening Roman,

I enjoyed reading Willi Reschke's wonderful book very much.
Did you read it, too ?
Have you ever come across Ta 152 kills other than those scored by Reschke, Keil and Loos ?

Cheers,

Michael
