Looking for INFO on Ritterkreuzträger Ofhr. Franz Toth

Does anyone have some information about Ofhr. Franz Toth and his gunner "Johnny" Johann Felsmann od SG 2? They flew a Junkers Ju 87 and probably both survived the war. Ofhr. Franz Toth received the Ritterkreuz very late during the war. Unfortunatly I can't find much information via "google". Thanks alot for any help! Regards - Kurtl

He's not on the list of official Ritterkreuz holders but he was awarded a Deutches Kreuz:

PERSONALIA

DEUTSCHES KREUZ IN GOLD

Regarding Franz Toth, I found this tidbit:

07.09.42 Uffz., pilot awarded the Ehrenpokal.

I found this in :
Schiebert, Horst. Die Inhaber des Ehrenpokals für Besonderene Leistung im Luftkrieg (Friedberg: Podzun-Pallas-Verlag, 1986). ISBN: 3-7909-0283-7.

I cannot find him in any listing of Ritterkreuz holders, so perhaps he had only been nominated for this?

Wish I know this for sure. I'm trying to find out when he actually received the Ritterkreuz. Could be that he only was nominated for it. Thanks for the informations. I thought there would be more to find about him on the internet, but nothing...

Gentlemen,

There were plenty of Schlachtfliegers like Hermann Neumann,Hans-Gottfried Schulz, and those who flew over 500 ground attack missions before the end of WWII that had been nominated for the Knight's Cross. Final approval of the Knight's Cross, unknown. Yes I too wonder about the status of Franz Toth getting the Knight's Cross.

Sincerely,

Edward L. Hsiao
