HE70 TR+??
Friends,
I have a photo of an HE70 with the code likley TR+H? or maybe TR+R? and serial POSSIBLE 1126. Any idea of to what (prewar?) unit it belonged to? Thank you |
The closest record I have is for a He70 coded TR+NH serving with Sch/FAR 82 taken in 1941. [source "Die Flugzeugfuhrer Ausbildung der Deutschen Luftwaffe" Band I]

He 70
Hi,
are you shure about the WNr. ? He 70 WNr. 1127 started with TO+. Regards, Norbert |
He 70F-2 W/nr.1126
Hi
I also have 1126 with the part Stkz TR+H. All of the He 70s with the 112.. series W/nrs originally had civil regs and not factory Stkz. So TO+.. for 1127 is highly likely. I am trying to complete my He 70 W/nrs lists with civil regs & codes etc. It is almost 95% complete. Can anybody help with other W/nrs etc to finish the project. Thanks Regards Tom Willis |
Re: HE70 TR+??
It took me a while but now I found what identity that HE70 have!
TR+HY, HE70-F, Flugzeugführerschule (FFS) A/B 114 http://www.ww2.dk/air/schule/ffsab114.htm Never give up! Peter |
Re: HE70 TR+??
TR+HX and Y were both He70 what makes you think Y is 1126?

Re: HE70 TR+??
Tony,
Good questions, my assumptions are probably wrong about the code/wnr. Let me try to sort my thoughts out. Having used magnifying glass on my old photo I am quite sure the wnr is 1126. My photo clearly shows TR+H but not the last letter. The reference photo I found is here; https://www.luftarchiv.de/index.htm?...inkel/he70.htm This led me to believe that I had a photo of the same aircraft but it is not. My photo shows a wnr on the tail and the HE70 in the link does not, also the swastika is not in the same place on these aircrafts. I am not able to find any other diffrenses on the aircratfts. So, my picture might then be TR+HX with the wnr 1126, but I can of cause be wrong again. Thank you for challenging me Tony! May I ask if there is any referens for TR+HX? Peter |

Peter
Looks like then that 1126 is either X or Y. Sorry I don't have a unit for X but others might Regards Tony |
Re: HE70 TR+??
For me it looks like Y too...otherwise we would see the beginning or the right leg of the X behind the shoulder of the airman....(in my humble opinion). The colour photograph of the He 70 taxying is a nice one too.
