Good catch! If being in use the poor one had no chance... Did they had any option for be jettisoned and use a parachute of was just a coffin?

I guess they used the connectionpoints for the droptank so it should be possible to jettisoned the pod, but if the PK man was able to use a parachute is another question!

As stated the picture in the Bodenplatte book was incorrectly identified. The picture came from Stollnberger directly but I think back in 2002/2003 Ron and I simply added 1 + 1 and came to three .....I do not remember that Stollnberger himself made any identification to the picture....I believe my contact with him was back in 1997....

My mistake. Sure the pilot can jettison it but I was guessing whether the "passenger" can jettison it and the "coffin" opens to land on a parachute like another device - well I think I´m correct... - used to drop spies (Do not remember whether was used by Germans or British...)
