Hi guys

Jürgen-Oskar von Bonin was the brother of Major Eckart-Wilhelm von Bonin (37 victories, RK) and Major Hubertus von Bonin (77 victories, RK, killed in action 15 December 1943). He was killed on 8 February 1942 while serving as a Beobachter in a Transportgeschwader on the Eastern Front. Would anyone have his rank and if possible the unit that he was serving with at the time of his death? Many thanks.

That was quick! Many thanks for your help and the very useful additional information that you included. I have read that in addition to the loss of the two brothers their father Oberst Bogislaw von Bonin was listed as missing on 9 March 1945 near Rexin in the Stolp region of Pommern and later declared dead.
