Information concerning the loss of Uffz. Josef Wendl - fighter pilot with JG 26 - killed 18.07.1944

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Uffz. Josef Wendl who was a pilot in JG 26 and was killed on the 18th July 1944 in the West?
