Identification of crashed RCAF aircraft

On 13. June 1967, the 21 year old Norwegian pilot trainee Geir Corbet Tvedte was killed in an accident with his RCAF instructor near Kendall AFB in Canada when practicing low level flights in a T-33 (or Canadair built). Can anyone provide more details and i.d. of the aircraft.

I'm at a loss where Kendall AFB is/was? Or is it the town of Kendal in Saskatchewan?

Regards,

Leendert
