No.501 Squadron white Hurricanes.
 

Good morning,

Before to be sent as a reinforcement to No.67th Fighter Wing in France on the 10th of may 1940, No.501 Squadron had been earmarked to be sent to Norway.
In his book "Fear Nothing", David Watkins writes that in early may 1940, some Hurricanes of this squadron had been painted in white (snow camouflage), has anybody ever seen a photograh of such a Hurricane ?
(No mention of this in AIR27/1949).
