Lt J F Luma of 418 Sqn claimed He 177 0200 hrs 3 miles S. Bordeaux 12-13 Feb 44. Ewers crashed at Pessac

Seide was not shot down but damaged; he was killed in an accident 11 May 1944.

If you want to know more about the Fw 200s, it is in my new book. I have also written about the FAA against the He 177s on this date having been in touch with Rieder's family. Just 2 He 177s were lost this day-Rieder and Ewers
