The author is a forum member — lpersen — so maybe a PM to him would help (although publishers don't always keep authors fully informed!).

That's and L not an I: LPERSEN.

Over the years, in buying Schiffer books, I frequently find that Schiffer holds back books from Amazon, presumably to sell more copies themselves, of "hot" items. Often a book will never get to Amazon itself, but will end up being sold by an affiliate, typically with no, or a very modest, discount. Some of this may depend on Amazon's willingness to accept the discount being offered by Schiffer, which is probably no where near what Amazon wants.
