Flak Abschussmeldungen in Berlin area 14-15 November 1940?

Dear all,

For the NJWD 2nd ed., I am looking for Flak claims details of three, possibly four 'heavies' that were shot down by Flak in the Berlin area during the Berlin raid of 14-15 November 1940; who can help?

One of these was for 44 Sqn Hampden X2996, which was hit by Flak and exploded over Berlin-Dahlem. At least two other Bomber Command aircraft were claimed destroyed in the Berlin area, at Hönow and near Marienfelde.

I am especially looking for details of the Flak units involved, the crash locations of the Bomber Comand aircraft, and the times when they were claimed shot down.

Cheers and thanks, Theo

That bomber is depicted in video on the video series WORLD AT WAR by the BBC.

You're possibly aware of this already, but 3 minutes 38 seconds into episode 12 of The World At War ("Whirlwind: The Bombing Of Germany"), there is footage of the wreck of X2996 being removed from its crash site by crane, watched by many onlookers in military fatigues. No clues as to your Flak unit though, sorry to say.
