Friedrich Bonsack
When he is killed in the crash of his He111 on 13/12/41 in France, Friedrich Bonsak is rather old for a pilot during the war, even if it is still the beginning: he is 36 year old.
This makes think that he had probably been a pilot several years before (civil?), and that there should be some history about him. Can you help find some information about this pilot ? Thanks GC |
Re: Friedrich Bonsack
Gilles,
My own guess is that he may have been a former Flight Instructor. Do not know if the actual German Civilian Aviation authority do have archives from before the war. MAYBE this can be a good start to find more about this pilot...maybe. Friendly yours, Adriano Baumgartner |
Re: Friedrich Bonsack
This is good idea Adriano, thanks for the path.
However, I wonder how access the archives concerning civil flight instructor. Any tip, guys ? Bon week-end Adriano!!! GC |
Re: Friedrich Bonsack
With Data Protection etc, it will be hard unless it is in private hands
