Information concerning loss of Uffz. Gerard Loffelbein
 

Hi,

Please can anyone provide details over the loss of Uffz. Gerard Loffelbein who was killed on his 43 combat mission.

He had already won the EK I and the Bronze flight badge for his flights.

I have no date of his loss just a portrait won on Ebay.

Volksbund.de has (a) Uffz. Gerhard Löffelbein with date of death/missing on 19 Feb 1942 in the Grigorowa-Uwarowka area.

No luck yet to find where this is....

He was born on 30 Sep 1920 in Berlin.

Rick , Ju88 A-4 B3+EC 2630 of StabII/KG54 FF Uffz Hermann Peschek, B Uffz Walter Schubert, Bf Fw Otto Knollmann, Bs Uffz Gerhard Loffelbein all missing changed to killed. GQM (report dated 20-2-42 page 4 admended report 28-2-42 page1) shows target? Meshaisk KG54 book shows Truppen Browitino in both cases cause unknown,
