Hello,

Heinrich Bauer was attached to 6./NJG 5 as a Bordfunker.
On the night between the 17. and 18. August 1943, his plane crashed at Stettin due to engine fire. The plane was a Me 110 G-4 with Wnr. 5443.
Both Bauer and the pilot took to their parachutes and the pilot survived but Bauer was found killed.
I have my informations from vol. 1 and 2 "Deutsche Nachtjagd" by Michael Balss.
