A search of our files reveals only:

EDELMANN, Fritz. 01.07.43 Hptm., appt Adj. in Stab/JG 2 (to at least 31.12.43).

But a search of Tom Kracker's archive reveals:

Edelmann, Friedrich "Fritz" - Hptm. 6 victories - 3./JG-2 (12/41), 1./JG-2 (6/42), Stab I./JG-2 (8/42), Adj JG-2 (1/44)Bf 109F-2 Werk # 7055(40% lost), Fw 190A-3 Werk # 0275(70% lost 10/31/42) - EP, EK 1 & 2, Wound Badge, Fighter Operational Clasp - KIA 30 January, 1944 in aerial combat north of Paris. Occassionally flew wingman for Oesau in the Spring of 1942. Wounded 17 April, 1942 in Werk # 7055 of JG-2 by bomber return fire near Beaumont-le-Roger airfield. Injured 31 October, 1942 in Werk # 0275 in a crash landing near Cauverville due to major technical problems. One known victory, a Spitfire on 5 June, 1942. Another, a Spitfire on 19 August, 1942. A 3rd, a B-17 15 km north of Pleubian on 16 February, 1943. Another B-17 6 km west of St. Valery on 28 March, 1943. A 3rd B-17 8 km west of Pointe de la Corbiere on 29 May,

We hope that this helps.
