Uffz. Maier was from the 1.Staffel I./JG 52, lost in a LK at Stariza with Me Bf 109 F-2, WNr.5771.

This is a old post but seeking a little more detail. In Prien’s JFV 6/II it lists he was shot down 8 km west of Latoschina. Was this in a battle with DB-3 bombers? About what time?
