I contacted him a number of years ago-what exactly are you after?

Re: stuka crew info search

I know him as a former 3./SG 5 pilot who became Kapitän on 11./KG 200 in 1945. He did have an RK and there is an entry for him in vol. 2 of Ernst Obermaier's RK-Träger books.

thanks Nick and chris,
i was looking for pictures from him and his stuka units that he served with , I didn't even know that he is or was still alive, when did you contacted him?

Re: stuka crew info search

He was with 9/StG 1 from late 1940 (after Battle of Britain) then III/StG 1. Then I/SG 5 and as Nick says 11/KG 200. I was in touch at least 5 years ago and he was not forthcoming with accounts just photos which I copied. As Nick also says, the best info on him is in Obermaier's RK book Band II

Small typo there, Doug: it's Kreis (= "district of")
