General Research Question

There is a lot of information on the forum about using various research tools that are available, Ultra intercepts, etc. I have been able to access photos from the Bundesarchiv but the question is how many other files, from government archieves, are available on the internet? Living in the States certainly makes it hard to visit government site in the U.K. or Germany.

If you visit the UK National Archives site, you will find a section about documents that can be consulted or ordered online. I've noticed that RAF combat reports can be bought over the net, for instance.
