AIR 23/1218
Hi gents,
Someone did read it already? How many pages? Not available online ... Thanks for your help. Regards, Franck. PS: contains pages about luftwaffe captured planes. That's the reason I did put here. |
Re: AIR 23/1218
I'd imagine it's pretty much identical to the A.I.2(g) Reports available in AIR40/2158 upwards but I'd be interested to have that confirmed.

Re: AIR 23/1218
Hi Steve,
former reference is S48103/INT IIJ1/169/47(B) and yes it's Air Intelligence; does concern RAF overseas command, RAF Middle east. That's not the problem. The main problem is 422£!!!! Regards, Franck. |

Hi,
NA AIR 23/1218 does not contain any captured aircraft reports. Rather, it is the correspondence (including the cover letters for the captured aircraft reports) between the Air Ministry A.I.2(g) and the relevant Middle East authority. There is the odd mention of a Werknummer or aircraft code, but that is rare. This file covers 1942. Two sample pages are attached. All the best, Andrew A. Hi Andrew,
I was more or less expecting your reaction. I'll send you a message later. Regards, Franck. |
