Clint. This is the 19BS emblem applied when camo removed; Lyndon Johnson (USN) won the Army Silver Star on her in June 1942.
White bars have recently been added to the insignia minus borders; there is a photo of her on "PacificWrecks" before the camouflage was stripped off. Nick |
