How to find Sovjet WW2-pilots?

Hello everyone,

as some of you might know, I am looking for my grandfathers brother who got shot down in a air combat in Latvia on 5th August 1944. Thanks to the help of some researchers I received a list of Sovjet pilots who claimed a air victory on that day in the region where the last fight of my great uncle was.

I want to see if some of those pilots are still alive. If yes, they could have more informations about that tragic day so I need to contact them.

But how can I find them? Is there any possibility to find those men by name and unit?

I hope you can help me.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards

Sebastian

Privet Sebastian,
Noskin Konstantin Kuzmich born in 1922 survived the battle on 05/08/1944, but received severe wounds. In 1947-1948 he lived at the place of birth in Evpatoria, an invalid of the second group. Until 1985 probably did not live.

What details do you need?
Best regards,
Kirill
