Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Thanks Snautzer !
For the sake of completeness, here two more shots which were on sale too before being withdrawn: https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...in/photostream https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...n/photostream/ We are looking at Bf 109 G-14 W.Nr. 463 141 "Schwarze 17", 2./NAGr 14, Fürth, 8 May 1945. By the way all German planes were photographed at Fürth, both the Ju 87 D-5 and the Bf 109 G-14 being depicted upon arrival in the morning of 8 May 1945 as they surrendered. Here another color shot of the Ju 87 D-5: https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...7631641093901/ Cheers Marc |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Interesting is the label Lehr motor (training engine) under the engine indicating this was a mechanic school airframe?

so this could be also a flight / pilot's training school. |
Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
I have this Me262A-1/Ur a WNr 500100, a FWE Eger-assembled jet with the typical FWE camouflage, white 26, originally operated by 2./NAGr 6, found at Lechfeld a/f in May '45. The high numerals seem to be applied when servicing with EJG 2.
Can somebody verify the WerkNr below the tail surfaces? The 4th digit seems to a "2" for me. Regards RolandF |

Nick,
Link doesn't open ... here. |
Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
That´s why I asked about the WNr. I have WNr 500100 as with 2./NAGr 6 on April 5th, '45 at Unterschlauersbach and Burg b Magdeburg and with 1./NAGr 1 at Altengrabow on April 8th, '45.
