Friedrich von Uiberacker

Dear All,
Do you happen to know something more about Friedrich von Uiberacker than is given here: http://www.kriegstote.org/cgi-bin/ba...tuell&Id=41522, here https://books.google.pl/books?id=ePz...racker&f=false, and here https://books.google.pl/books?id=Wey...racker&f=false ?

For example, do you know whether he had any brothers or sisters? According to geni.com, it seems that he did not (https://www.geni.com/people/Peter-vo...00060130270089 - he is mentioned as his father's only son; his name is sometimes spelt 'Ueberacker'), but maybe the author of the website did not have other information...
Thank you in advance.

The surname spelled as Uiberacker just does not sound right. Ueberacker, on the other hand, would be equivalent to Überacker, and would make more sense. Other than that...

Well, names are often spelled in different ways and the difference may even be due to a registrar's or a sexton's (in the case of a church register) mistake. So, what seems to be an error can sometimes be the right spelling of a name.

All is correct ... Überacker, Ueberacker or Uiberacker ... I'd say that Uiberacker is the historic form of the name ...

In the book Gedenkbuch des deutschen Adels, from 1967, his name is given av Friedrich Graf von Ueberacker, Freiherr von Sighartstein (born in Rosegg on 4 February 1922). You might possibly contact the publisher C A Starke Verlag (they have a home-page) for further information. This company publish books etc concerning the German nobility. They are usually helpful.
