SAVE HELSINKI-MALMI AIRPORT !! LW interest.

Hi,

Please go to the Fw 190 at Helsinki-Malmi airport thread, read message #8, and click on last link and do your bit to help save yet another piece of our aviation heritage under threat!

With it's obvious Luftwaffe links this site is interesting historically, as well as architecturally. Looking at airfields/airports can help us understand the aircraft that we are interested in, how and where they operated and much, much more! An airfield preserved brings life to aviation history just as some would argue that aircraft were meant to fly rather than sit in museums (before any arguments there are pros and cons for the latter!).

Regards to all,

David

Thanks very much for posting the picture! Do you have any more showing Malmi Airport? This is invaluable historic material!
