Air battle over the Battle of Kursk

Please can anybody tell me if any Russian based researchers are doing detailed work on the air combats over the major land action, I am keen to make contact with a specialist on this period/area. thanks Peter

Hi Peter

My understanding is that the foremost Russian researcher on this particular engagement is Vitaly Gorbach who has written a book titled Aviation in the Kursk Battle: Above the Fiery Arc. Unfortunately, it appears to be available only in Russian if I am not mistaken.
