Information concerning loss of Uffz. Max Maier - fighter pilot - killed 24.12.44

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Uffz. Max Maier who was a fighter pilot and was killed on the 24th December 1944?

He was killed over the West after 4 years service.

24.12.44 8./JG 2 Uffz Max Maier † beim Rückflug vom Feindflug von P-51 abgeschossen, Wallershausen bei Nidda, 100%.
Bf 109 G-14 WNr. 462952
