It really is! One of the only references on the development of self sealing fuel tanks and armor plating in WWII era aircraft. There is also some great material on claims vs. losses in the Pacific Theater. This book should be on the bookshelf of anyone interested in WWII aviation. I am somewhat biased about the publication as I provided some research material to the author.
