Sd.Kdo.OKL

Hello,

Do you have any information on "Sd.Kdo.OKL" which was based at Berlin-Staaken in early 1944?
This unit claimed 3 B-17s on 11 January 1944 and lost one aircraft with its pilot on 22 February.

Das Sd.Kdo. Ob.d.L. war keine Kampfeinheit, sondern bestand aus Flugzeugführern der BAL – Bauaufsicht Luft -, deren Aufgabe die Abnahme und Überführung der von der Industrie fertiggestellten Maschinen war; die Flugzeugführer wurden dazu zu den einzelnen Werken entsandt, um die bereitgestellten Flugzeuge abzuholen und zu den Luftparks zu überführen.

It's from some daily summaries, they are reproduced in Tony Wood's claim list and Day Fighters in Defence of the Reich: A Way Diary, 1942-45 by Donald Caldwell.
