It is with enormous sadness that we report the passing of F/O Laurie Woods AM DFC Ld’H RAAF, who died on the 22 March.

This hero flew 31 Ops &, despite not being a pilot, managed to land a Lanc safely, after his pilot was injured. One of only 2 in WW2 to achieve such a feat.
