Who can help me with the crash locations of two Lancasters on 2-3 December 1943: -101 Squadron Lancaster JB128, crew all taken PoW. -576 Squadron Lancaster W4337, crew buried Mönchengladbach. (Crash location may be Gellep-Stratum, Krefeld). Thanks for any info, Cheers, Theo |

Lancaster W4337 crashed at Gellep-Stratum, 5 Km southeast of Krefeld Lancaster JB128 crashed at Berlin-Tempelhof All the best Fred |

-576 Sqn Lancaster W4337: hit by Flak of 1. & 2./schw. Flak Abt. 145, 2. & 3./schw. Flak Abt. 177 (o), 4. & 5./schw. Flak Abt. 301, 2. & 3./schw. Flak Abt. 383, 6./schw. Flak Abt. 401 (o), 1./schw. Flak Abt. 407, 2./schw. Flak Abt. 423, 7./schw. Flak Abt. 463 (o), 4./schw. Flak Abt. 472, crashed at Gellep-Stratum near Krefeld at 21.50 hrs. Cheers, Theo |
