I thought you were the expert on Hs 129! :-)

If you have access to a Teilliste you should be able to compare it with parts in it.

Same goes for this e-bay item 120532268516, it is from a Ta 152?

Thanks, Mikael, for the remark, but there are others, too, who have very detailed knowledge, especially in aircraft archeology - which I am not specialised in.

Here is the drawing of the Hs 129B's belly. Although the above piece of metal skin looks like originating from a Hs 129, I cannot readily identify it - hence my post here, on the forum (supposing, of course, that the dwg. is accurate):

I can't say for sure, or even hazard a guess. Assuming drawing accuracy and precision, start with the overall dimensions of the part compared to the major panel sections - running the length of the fuselage - shown in the drawing; perhaps compare rivet patterns also. The part shows what appears to be an access cover (bordered with screws?) (top center) and a cut out opening (bottom right). Do these features connect to the Hs 129? The captive fasteners located on the reoccurring "ridges" at both ends of the part suggest that the panels that matted with this one were removable - another feature to look for on drawings or in service manuals. I am surprised that an airframe subassembly of this size, apparently complete, is not tagged or marked relative to the aircraft type; Henschel, like other German makers, made good use of data plates on such structures.

May I ask what makes you think this is a panel from a Hs 129? Do you have any clues to it's provenance or, perhaps, is someone selling or displaying the item as Hs 129?

I have no view on the item but to me the paint colour looks a little Soviet in hue. Perhaps a Soviet aircraft?

Regard to its elements its look like the engine cover from some airplane. Small opening could be direct access to some filter or tank pipe. It have two colors visible, dark grey base and slightly turquoise medium blue over it. It could be associated with German tropical bottom color but even with standard Soviet. Also- grey color is used as primer on Soviet color, at least for interior. On edge is actually third color, chromate hue.

All I have is this photo, nothing else. The seller did not respond to my e-mail.

The only reason why I think it might be part of a Hs 129 is the "looks". Since I don't even know the overall size, it's very hard for me to positively identify it. That's why I posted it here, asking help from the experts of this field.

Gewicht ca 5 kg.

Strangely, no aircraft factory logo is on this shield.
What manufacturer was hdc 5?

If “hdc” is actually a Hersteller code it should be:

Luftfahrtgerätwerk Hakenfeld GmbH, Berlin-Spandau, Streitstr.5-17.

I am uncertain if it is, and have no idea regarding the “5.”

The geräte number 19-5000 series is for electrical parts/equipment. Are you sure this plate is associated with the structural panel assembly?
