A bit off topic perhaps.... photos
Hi, guys.
As we all know, interpretation of B/W film is not necessarily easy, a lot of factors can give some pretty obscure effects. I would suppose that the effect of different kinds of film and filters can be simulated using Photoshop, does anyone know of websites which show examples of these effects? Regards, Andreas B |

Hello Andreas,
sorry to hijack your thread, I should send a PM probably, did you receeive an email from me regarding a 1945 Norwegian who was on a aircraft which crashed in Ireland? I'd sent it some months ago and feared my email might be failing to get through. regards, Dennis |

Hi Andreas,
See if you can track down a shot of the Mosquito prototype, at the time numbered (IIRC) E0234. The orthochromatic film results in the all-yellow airframe appearing red. Edit - example here: http://www.1000aircraftphotos.com/401Squadron/12L.jpg |

Hi.
I would still like to know if anybody has found a system to convert orthochromic back to ordinary greyscale. I have looked to see if I can find it, but must misname my search perameters as it never comes up. Anybody managed that?? Will stop a lot of arguments. Stefaan |
